How to fix this app has been blocked by your system administrator Windows 11

  • Restart Your PC: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix your problems on your computer. Recently AVG showing error when you try to uninstall it. Which should'nt have to come but you can use Geekuninstall to uninstall any app from your windows 11 PC.

 

  • Unblock the App: Windows' security feature could block certain files, especially files downloaded from the external source means from internet.
  1. To unblock your App :
  2. Right-click your app and click on Properties.
  3. Select General tab .
  4. Uncheck the Unblock option.
  5. Select on Apply and then OK to save your changes.

 

 

  • Run the App as an Administrator: Some apps need administrator rights . Its metion in the video link given below.

 

  • Disable Microsoft Defender SmartScreen: This option might be blocking your app. You can disable it temporarily to see if that fixes the issue.

 

  • Turn Off Your Antivirus Software: Third parthy antivirus can cause problem. Your antivirus software might response to the app as a potential threat. Try turning off your antivirus software temporarily.

 

  • Registry Edit: Open the Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Run dialog box.

 

  1. Navigate to the path Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.
  2. Double-click on the value EnableLUA and change it from 1 to 0.
  3. Restart your computer and try to run the app again.

Method 1: Registry Editor to Enable LUA to Zero.

1. Open the Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Run Window.
2. Copy and Past the path or locate it Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.
3. Once you fine EnableLUA > Double-click on the value EnableLUA and change it from 1 to 0.
4. Restart your computer and try to run the app again.

Method 2: Set Program to Run as Administrator.

1. Select the application's shortcut icon on the desktop and right-click on it.
2. Click on Properties option.
3. Select Compatibility tab.
4. In the Settings Section, check the box showing Run This Program As An Administrator .
5. Click Apply and OK, and close the Properties window.
6. Now, whenever you open the program, it will automatically show you administrator privileges window.

Method 3: Unblock File.

1. Select the blocked application and do a right click and select Properties.
2. Click on the General tab, Now you will find Security option.
3. Now remove the tick from the Unblock box next to "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer."
4. Now Click Apply and OK, and close the Properties window.

Method 4: Repair or Reset.

1. Click on windows icon > click on Settings.
2. You can press and hold windows icon and then press I ( as icon ).
3. Click on Apps on the left side.
4. Go to Apps and Features and in Search app type Application.
5. Next to Application you will get three dots > Click on it.
6. Click on Advanced Options.
7. Now scroll the page and click on Repair.
8. If that doesn't work for you then click on Reset.
9. Afterwards restart the computer.
10. Check it that helps you to fix the problem.

Method 5: Reputation-Based Protection Settings.

1. Click on the Windows icons.
2. Select Settings.
3. On the Left Hand side click on Privacy & Settings.
4. Click on Windows Security > Open Window Security.
5. On Left Side click on App & Browser Control.
6. Under the Reputation-based Protection. You will get Reputation-based Protection settings.
7. Click on it.
8. Turn off Potentially Unwanted App Blocking.
